Single Acting Cylinders
A single-acting cylinder in a reciprocating engine is a cylinder in which the working fluid acts on one side of the piston only. A single-acting cylinder relies on the load, springs, other cylinders, or the momentum of a flywheel, to push the piston back in the other direction.
Double Acting Cylinders
A double-acting cylinder is a cylinder in which the working fluid acts alternately on both sides of the piston. A double-acting cylinder is used where an external force is not available to retract the piston or it can be used where high force is required in both directions of travel. We take care of very detail while designing to manufacture the product.
Telescopic Cylinders
At GST Hydropneumatics, Telescopic cylinders are designed with a series of steel or aluminum tubes of progressively smaller diameters nested within each other. The largest diameter sleeve is called the main or barrel. The smaller inner sleeves are called the stages. The smallest stage is often called the plunger or piston rod. We assure the strenght and durability of our products for their heavy usage.
Tie Rod With Flange Mounted Cylinders
In Tie Rod With Flange Mounted Hydraulic Cylinders cylinder tie rods are extended and used to mount the cylinder. To prevent misalignment, sagging or possible binding of the cylinder, the free end should be supported. The best use of tie-rods when extending on the blind end is in a thrust load application. When using tie-rods extended on the rod end, the best application is a tension load. Tie rod mounts are suited for many applications.
Foot Mounted Cylinders
Foot mounting hydraulic cylinders, which are mostly used to convert the fluid power in linear mechanical motion and force. Our range of cylinders can also be used to convert fluid energy to output force or motion in linear direction.
Clevis Mounted Cylinders
Clevis Mounted Hydraulic Cylinders are used where overall maximum column strength and sag is not an issue. This is the most common design of hydraulic cylinder mounting and used on many and varied applications.
Trunnion Mounted Cylinders
Trunnion Mounted Hydraulic Cylinder is one of the best and strongest mounting systems available as it is a single gimbal mount and therefore self aligning in one axis. When used with a second gimbal mount in the orthogonal it becomes a universal joint and therefore effectively self aligning in three axes.
